Nicola has a degree in geology from the University of Portsmouth and has previous experience in working in the mining and waste management business sectors.
She is responsible for maintaining ICL’s ISO9001 quality standard and has responsibility for all aspects of Itasca software codes and administrative support for ICL’s own software InSite, as well as the day to day running of the office.

The Fifth International Itasca Symposium will be held at the University of Vienna (Austria). The Symposium will features the application of Itasca software for solving engineering and scientific challenges in geomechanics, hydrogeology, microseismicity, and more.
Dr. Huang specialises in applied seismology for passive and active seismic sources, and in high performance algorithm development for data processing and interpretation.
He has undertaken microseismic projects worldwide including reservoir stimulation, underground mining, geothermal development, and nuclear waste disposal. He is a key developer of the microseismic processing software (InSite) at Itasca Consulting Ltd and provides extensive training and technical support to customers around the globe.
Dr. Huang is a registered P.Geo (Ltd) with Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario Canada and holds a Ph.D. in Seismology from University of Toronto.
